MUFASA is a vision of the future. The impossible: two forms of art coming together. The “it’s never been done before” artists from two states collaborate and pour not only their artistry, but their own heart into a single piece of art.
Countless hours of work and travel were spent searching for the best and most humble artists that would be willing to collaborate and intervene in each other‘s art.
MUFASA is unique; it is revolutionary art that defies borders and perpetuates the cosmovision of true indigenous art.

Mufasa grew up in Tecate, Baja California and at the age of 12 immigrated to United States. During his earlier years, he performed odd jobs like construction, roofing and sales.
Moises’ true passion has always been art and music, which to this day, remain a major part of his life. As an adult, Moises owned and operated several businesses, nevertheless he continues to search for his true purpose.
When his father, aunt and uncle passed away just days after each other, Moises had a vision. The vision was to fuse the
art from the hills of Jalisco & Nayarit and Oaxaca.
Moises left everything in the United States to search for artists from both states to create this fusion.
This is the vision of Mufasa: to fuse art, create jobs and help indigenous communities. Most of the proceeds from every piece directly benefit the communities and artist who work with so much patience, respect and love.

Alebrijes- are beings that have physical features of one or many real or imaginary animals. But what makes alebrijes one of the most famous crafts in Mexico, the answer is that each alebrije is unique. In addition, the Oaxacans united artisanal sculpture with a pre-Hispanic concept to give them a spiritual meaning.
Mezcal Godin- MUFASA is the proud distributor in the United States of Mezcal Godin. An artisan mezcal with ancestral roots in the state of Oaxaca.
